A perfect fit for everyday work.

Prepare product photos for your online store, reduce image dimensions for your website, or fit a picture into a presentation. Choose JPG for opaque photos, PNG for crisp graphics and transparency, or WebP for modern websites. Check your destination’s size requirements before exporting.

A little clarity

Good questions.

Can I make a passport-size photo or a social image?

Yes. Choose a purpose preset for 35 × 45 mm or 2 × 2 inch printed photos, profile pictures, social posts, stories, or website banners. Review the live framing preview and adjust the crop position. Passport presets set pixel dimensions only: set the physical size in your printing software and check your authority’s full requirements. This tool does not certify identity-photo compliance or remove backgrounds.

How do I resize an image online?

Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP file, enter your desired width and height in pixels, then select Resize image. Review the result and download the new file. No account is required.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Image decoding, resizing and exporting happen in your browser. Your image is not sent to our servers. Closing or reloading the page clears the workspace.

Will resizing affect image quality?

Reducing dimensions usually keeps an image looking sharp. Enlarging an image cannot add real detail and can make it look softer. JPG and WebP quality settings also affect the exported file.

Can I keep a transparent background?

Yes. Choose PNG or WebP to preserve transparency. JPG does not support transparency, so transparent areas become white.

What are the image size limits?

Files must be 20 MB or smaller, no dimension may exceed 12,000 pixels, and both input and output are limited to 24 megapixels. Browser memory limits vary, so smaller dimensions may work better on older devices.

Does this preserve animation and metadata?

This tool exports a single still image and does not preserve animation or original EXIF metadata. Keep a copy of the original if you need animation, camera information, or editing history.

What is the difference between resizing and compressing?

Resizing changes the width and height in pixels. Compression changes how image data is stored to reduce file size. A smaller image may still be a larger file if you switch formats or export at a higher quality.
